Wildhorse Golf Club is a municipally-owned par-70 course in Henderson, Nevada, just 15-20 minutes from The Strip. Originally established in 1959 as one of Southern Nevada's first golf courses, it underwent a comprehensive redesign in 2004 by architects Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley. The layout features four tee options ranging from 4,995 to 6,525 yards and maintains a traditional design aesthetic.

The relatively flat course is distinguished by pine and palm-lined fairways, natural desert areas, and several lakes that come into play on seven holes total. Notable features include the par-3 4th hole with water trailing the right side, and the challenging par-4 9th, flanked by lakes on both sides and considered one of Las Vegas's toughest holes. Large, moderately undulating greens and firm fairways characterize the playing surface.

The course appeals to all skill levels and is walkable, a rarity in the Las Vegas area. Wildhorse holds Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary status, one of only seven courses in Nevada with this environmental designation. Amenities include a natural turf driving range, chipping area, putting green, and on-site bar and grill. The course hosted the PGA Tour's Sahara Invitational in the early 1970s.
