Las Vegas National Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located less than 10 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Designed by architect Bert Stamps in 1961, the par 71 course features a classic, traditional layout characterized by thousands of trees, strategically positioned sand bunkers, and water hazards that protect lush fairways and manicured greens.
The course has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments, including LPGA and PGA events such as the Tournament of Champions, Sahara Invitational, and Las Vegas Invitational. Notably, Tiger Woods played the course in 1996 during his first PGA Tour victory, shooting a 1-under par 70.
Las Vegas National provides a challenge suitable for golfers of all skill levels while maintaining an emphasis on customer service and pace of play. The course's well-established reputation is built on its historical significance and proven ability to host competitive golf. The desert setting and mature tree-lined fairways create a distinctive playing experience that distinguishes it from newer Las Vegas-area courses.
