Whitney Farms Golf Course

Chris Bargas Golf Club at Whitney Farms is an 18-hole championship public course located in Monroe, Connecticut, designed by renowned architect Hal C. Purdy and opened in 1982. The course measures 6,534 yards from the championship tees with slope ratings ranging from 127 to 134, offering championship-style play for golfers of all skill levels. Built on the former site of the Whitney family's horse stable and dairy farm, the layout thoughtfully incorporates the area's natural features including ponds, wildlife, and rolling terrain characteristic of New England's landscape. The course presents a balanced blend of challenge and scenic beauty, with notable features including stone barn facade remnants at the clubhouse entrance.
