Brownson Country Club

Established in 1959 and located in Huntington, Connecticut, Brownson Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course with a par 70 rating and a slope rating of 128. The course features an original design by Albert Zikorus that was later redesigned by the award-winning firm Cornish, Silva & Mungeam.

The layout is characterized by rolling elevation changes from tee to green, with water hazards coming into play on eleven holes. The course also features well-bunkered green complexes that add to its challenge. The terrain and design elements create one of the area's more demanding courses.

Beyond golf, the facility includes a family pool complex and a spacious clubhouse with multiple dining, bar, banquet, and meeting venues. The fully staffed pro shop manages an active golf calendar that includes men's, ladies', and couples' leagues, a season-long weekend tournament schedule, and a comprehensive junior golf program.
