The course stretches over 3,051 yards and was established in 1965. It features bluegrass fairways and bent grass greens with sand bunkers and water hazards throughout the layout. The course is characterized by generally straightforward, gently sloping holes with moderate difficulty suitable for players of all skill levels.

Key characteristics include multiple water hazards, with the signature third hole requiring a carry over water to a tight green flanked by bunkers. The par-4 ninth hole features a dogleg, while the par-5 seventh hole is a 476-yard straight shot. Several holes border streams along the fairways. The course is well-maintained and walkable on flat terrain adjacent to the East DuPage River.
