Founded in 1923, the club relocated to its current site in 1956 on land leased from the Town of Vulcan. The course was developed incrementally, with the original nine holes constructed through community fundraising and member contributions, subsequently expanded and improved over the decades through reinvestment of operational revenues and ongoing member support.
