Speargrass Golf Course

Speargrass Golf Course is an 18-hole private golf course located southeast of Calgary near Carseland, Alberta, situated in the Bow River Valley. The course features stunning views of the Bow River, Wyndham Provincial Park, and the Rocky Mountains, with a landscape characterized by relatively open terrain and limited tree coverage that can make conditions windy.

The course layout consists of six par-5s and six par-3s, presenting a challenging but accessible design suitable for golfers of all skill levels. The final three holes are particularly notable for their exceptional views of the Bow River Valley. The course is maintained in excellent condition with fast and true greens, and the design keeps residential properties set far back from play areas, minimizing visual distraction.

Speargrass functions as both a golf community and membership-based facility. It operates as part of a larger residential development with phases currently under construction, including a new clubhouse being built during the 2025-26 off-season.
