The Vineyard Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-71 championship layout located in Cincinnati, Ohio at Woodland Mound. Designed by Jack Kidwell and Dr. Michael Hurdzan and opened in 1986, the course ranges from 4,747 to 6,789 yards with a slope rating of 132 and course rating of 72.8. The layout features tree-lined fairways, pristine bent grass greens, and rolling terrain through thick woods, with water hazards including three ponds strategically positioned throughout the course.
The Vineyard is characterized by a challenging yet playable design that appeals to golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players. Family tees measuring 2,478 yards are available for juniors and novice golfers. The course includes four par-3 holes, three par-5 holes exceeding 500 yards, and multiple par-4 holes requiring accuracy off the tee. Trees typically line both sides of fairways, emphasizing the need for straight driving.
Continuously ranked among southern Ohio's top courses, the Vineyard has received recognition from Golf Digest (including a spot among the "Top 10 Public Golf Courses in Ohio"), Golf World, the National Golf Foundation, and Golf for Women magazine. Operated by Great Parks of Hamilton County and managed by PGA professionals, the course maintains award-winning conditions and offers leagues, tournaments, group outings, and PGA instruction year-round.
