Both challenging for advanced players and welcoming of beginners, the course is known for its friendly atmosphere and towering old growth trees. Hundreds of mature trees and two large lakes frame the holes here. The course rating is 69.6 and it has a slope rating of 121.
About a third of the holes measure over 400 yards from the Blue tees, including a pair of par-5 holes, the second and ninth holes. As a municipal course operated by the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, it is open to the public and offers competitive rates for golfers of all skill levels.
