Coldstream Country Club

Course Information Unclaimed

Coldstream Country Club is an 18-hole golf course in Cincinnati featuring 7,081 yards for a par of 71, designed by Dick Wilson and opened in 1959. The course was developed on 190 acres of gently rolling dairy farm situated high above the Ohio River. The course features a rolling Front 9 and flatter Back 9 playing the lower portion of the property.

The course has a rating of 74.7 and a slope rating of 140. Coldstream is an outstanding Dick Wilson design that challenges golfers of all ability levels, with massive greens many of which are 40-50 yards deep and contain significant movement on putts, while fairway bunkering creates risk/reward decisions on most holes and deep green side bunkers place a high demand on approach shot distance control. Keith Foster conducted a significant renovation in 2020, removing trees to restore the grandeur of the holes, expanding fairways and deepening bunkers.

The course has hosted numerous Ohio amateur and open championships as well as USGA qualifiers, and annually hosts the Bearcat Invitational, UC's home men's golf tournament, every September. The course was part of Golf Digest's inaugural America's 200 Toughest Courses list from 1966-'68 with its highest ranking at 70th in 1987-'88, and has been ranked inside the top 10 in the state from 1983-'89 and inside the top 15 from 1991-'97 and 2003-'26.
