Upchurch River Valley South Course

Upchurch River Valley Golf Course features three distinct courses built on an undulating, well-draining site with expansive views over the Medway towns and estuary. The 18-hole North Course is a par 72 that presents a comprehensive test across all skill levels. The 9-hole South Course plays to par 36 and is characterized by flatter terrain than the North Course, featuring a signature par 5 8th hole stretching 623 yards. The 9-hole Academy Course is par 33, comprising six par 4s and three par 3s with sloping greens and tree-lined fairways.

The courses are notable for their excellent drainage, allowing year-round play with minimal closures. Key challenges on the North Course include the demanding 3rd hole (223-yard par 3), the strategically bunkered 6th hole, and the uphill 8th hole with its narrow fairway. The 12th hole offers scenic views while presenting difficulty with water and tree hazards. The finishing 18th hole requires an accurate blind tee shot over a hill before approaching a three-tiered green. Buggy and trolley hire is available throughout the year, supporting accessibility for golfers of varying abilities.
