Two Rivers Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 championship layout measuring 6,595 yards from the championship tees, built in 1973 and redesigned by Leon Howard in 1991. The course is strategically positioned at the historic confluence of the Cumberland and Stones Rivers. The course's unique location where two of Tennessee's most important waterways converge creates dramatic elevation changes and stunning natural vistas throughout the round. The eighteen-hole course is challenging from the back tees, but is enjoyed by the average golfer from the other three tee locations.
The signature 8th hole provides spectacular views of the Nashville skyline, making it one of the most photographed holes in Middle Tennessee. In Summer 2016, the greens were redone and upgraded to Ultradwarf Bermuda, placing Two Rivers greens among the best in the state. The municipal course has numerous trees that can affect shots and water hazards coming into play on two holes. The course is situated on the former McGavock Plantation grounds.
