TPC Louisiana is an 18-hole golf course located in Avondale, Louisiana, a suburb southwest of New Orleans. Opened in 2004, it was designed by renowned golf course architect Pete Dye in consultation with tour professionals Steve Elkington and Kelly Gibson. The course plays as a par-72 golf course at a scorecard distance of 7,425 yards, making it one of the longer courses on the PGA Tour. Five sets of tees range from 5,121 yards from the front/women's tees to 7,400 yards from the tips.
The breathtaking scenery stretches over 250 acres of wetlands along the Mississippi River Delta, with this championship golf course meeting the highest course conditions and representing the natural local habitat. The layout incorporates stately stands of cypress and oak trees with plenty of water hazards and bunkers, featuring over 100 bunkers as well as five ponds. The course has four par 5s, four par 3s and 10 par 4s, finishing with an incredible par-5 finish. The signature hole is the par-5, 18th hole, with water in play for the entire right side.
TPC Louisiana has been part of the PGA Tour's Tournament Players Club network since its second season, and hosts the tour's Zurich Classic of New Orleans in the spring. The championship golf course is open to the public, with a variety of memberships available.
