Audubon Park Golf Course ☆ Follow

Audubon Park Golf Course is located just minutes from downtown New Orleans and features a Denis Griffiths design with contoured Bermuda fairways, manicured Tif-Eagle greens, four lagoons, and exquisite landscaping. The 18-hole, par 62 course offers a challenging layout set among century-old oak trees. The 81-acre course measures 4,189 yards and consists of 12 par 3s, four par 4s, and two par 5s. The course is located on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line across from Tulane University, within Audubon Park and adjacent to the Audubon Zoo.

The course opened in 1898 and was redesigned in 2001. It was the first property in Louisiana to earn certification through the Audubon International Signature Program and became a Certified Silver Signature Sanctuary in 2004. The course was voted the #1 course of "Courses Over 100 Years Old" and one of the top public courses in Louisiana by Golf Digest, and was included in CNN's list of 11 of the World's Top City Golf Courses.
