Thunderhart is a par 72, 18-hole golf course in upstate New York in the Great Northern Catskills, approximately 35 minutes south of Albany. The championship course is set in the Catskill Basin and stretches 6,482 yards, featuring 11 ponds and 15 sand traps with scenic views and challenging design. The front nine provides a traditional golf experience with three holes measuring over 500 yards, while the back nine was created in parkland style with each hole carved through the beautiful Catskill forest.

Acquired in 2007 by the Nicholsen family, owners of Sunny Hill Resort & Golf Course, Thunderhart has been transformed into one of the region's premier golf complexes. The course is open to the public and accommodates various skill levels with leagues and tournaments available. The facility is family-owned and offers stay-and-play packages with an onsite hotel featuring a lounge and outdoor pool.
