Catskill Golf Resort is an 18-hole course located in Catskill, New York. The layout combines two distinct design periods: the Original Nine, designed by James R. Thompson in 1928, and the New Nine, designed by William Oettinger in 2000. This combination of classic and modern design creates an interesting mix of playing styles across the course.

The course features several notable characteristics including water hazards marked by yellow stakes and lateral hazards marked in red. Notable holes include the 11th, with out-of-bounds fencing down the right side, and blind holes at #3, #5, and #15, where players must ring a bell after finishing to alert groups behind them. The 9th hole presents a challenge with out-of-bounds fencing protecting the Fairways restaurant.

The course enforces a strict 90-degree cart rule to maintain turf conditions, and maintains traditional golf etiquette standards including required collared shirts and soft spikes. The resort operates as both a golf facility and resort destination, hosting tournaments, outings, and special events throughout the year.
