The Richmond Golf Club is a private members' club located in Petersham village, nine miles southwest of central London, adjacent to Richmond Park. The course was originally designed by Tom Dunn and has been extensively updated to its current specification of par 70, 6,091 yards. It presents a challenging layout set within a peaceful rural environment with abundant natural beauty and wildlife.

The club is distinguished by its early-Georgian mansion clubhouse, dating from 1725 and regarded as one of England's finest examples of Palladian architecture, which serves as the focal point of the property. The course features 18 holes, each described as providing a strong test of golf.

With a membership of 665, the club maintains active Ladies' and Juniors' sections and is noted for its inclusive approach, having appointed the first female Club Captain in Surrey in 2022. Beyond golf, The Richmond Golf Club functions as a premier wedding and events venue in southwest London, hosting corporate functions, private gatherings, and community events while maintaining strong local charitable commitments.
