The Oaks Golf Course

The Oaks Golf Course, established in 1926, is one of the earliest golf courses in the Springfield, Illinois area. Located at 851 Dave Stockton Drive, the course features 18 holes set on beautiful rolling terrain with mature tree-lined fairways and immaculate greens. The property's maturity provides picturesque views of Sugar Creek throughout the round, offering both character and scenic beauty.

The course is designed to challenge and delight golfers of all skill levels. Its layout emphasizes the natural landscape, with the rolling topography and mature trees creating a classic course environment. The Oaks underwent significant renovations to both the clubhouse and golf course following its purchase in early 2019.

The course is part of a family-owned group that includes Meadowview Golf Course in Mattoon and Timberlake Golf Course in Sullivan, with Lakeshore Golf Course in Taylorville also managed by the same organization. The Oaks offers memberships providing access to multiple courses and accommodates golf outings, lessons, and special events including banquets, weddings, and reunions.
