The Lakes Golf and Country Club is a private club founded in 1989, featuring an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Ed Sneed with man-made and natural water hazards on 13 of the 18 holes. The course measures 7,106 yards with a par of 72, a course rating of 74.1, and a slope rating of 134 on bent grass. The 18-hole layout is less than 30 minutes from downtown Columbus in Westerville, yet provides a secluded and tranquil atmosphere.

The greens are exceptionally well-maintained, with several holes on the back nine set around the picturesque Westerville Reservoir. The course offers both player-friendly features for beginners and a fair challenge for more advanced players. The design incorporates strategically placed bunkers throughout the course.
