The 18-hole Swan Lake Golf & Country Club features 6,580 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by William Mitchell and built in 1960, the course is situated in the heart of Sullivan County's Catskill Mountains in the hamlet of Swan Lake, just outside the town of Liberty, New York. This tight, William Mitchell-designed, heavily-wooded course presents a moderate to challenging layout. The course rating is 71.8 and it has a slope rating of 132 on Blue Grass.

The longest hole on this course from the blue tees is the 537-yard par 5 seventeenth hole, while the shortest hole from the blue tee is the 182-yard par 3 eleventh hole. Many golfers challenge the 1st hole, which is a dogleg left, by taking their tee shot over the corner of the tree line and an open second shot to the green. The 477-yard par 5 third hole plays tough if the flight of your golf ball goes right or left of the fairway. Going left brings water into play, while the right is a sloped uphill fairway. Swan Lake is an 18 hole golf course rated 3 1/2 Stars by golf digest.
