This 9-hole course features 3,116 yards of golf for a par of 35 and was designed by Bill Cantrell, opening in 1982. Located in Sundown in the Texas Panhandle, the course is situated in the flat High Plains region. Formerly known as Sundown Municipal Golf Course, this course is longer than other small-town Panhandle courses, with over 3,100 yards and two par 5s exceeding 500 yards, complemented by extremely large greens. The course rating is 68.9 with a slope rating of 113 on Bermuda grass.

The course features approximately half-a-dozen bunkers scattered throughout, and the flat terrain is molded slightly to create uneven lies. The club places two flagsticks on every hole to provide different hole configurations when playing from the second set of tees. Water is in play on three holes, wind can be a significant factor, and hole 9 serves as the number one handicap hole, playing 450 yards.
