Stoneleigh Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 private course designed by Canadian Lisa Maki, which opened in 1991. Located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Snickersville Gap in Round Hill, Virginia, the course was designed in the Scottish tradition and plays through meandering apple orchards, preserving estate buildings and stone structures. From the championship tees, the course measures 6,728 yards with a course rating of 72.6 and slope of 136.

The semi-link style course is described as challenging and different, with design rewarding thoughtful play over raw power, featuring tight fairways demanding precise short iron work, risk-reward par 5s, and multi-level greens. The signature hole, number 15, is a par 5 with a pond-protected green, while hole 12 is a brutal uphill par 4 stretching 429 yards with a stone wall guarding the right side. The club was named The Prettiest Golf Course in Northern Virginia by Golf Magazine.

The course designer incorporated Civil War features dating back to 1850, including a manor house converted into the pro shop and an abandoned stone house on hole 13, a 170-yard par 3 that was once a toll gate. Facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping and bunker practice areas, pro shop, restaurant, locker rooms, and food service on a deck overlooking the 18th hole.
