Beacon Hill Golf Club is a private club nestled in the hills of Leesburg, VA. Located in the heart of Loudoun County Wine and Hunt Country just west of Leesburg, the course is nestled on the rolling crest of Catoctin Mountain, encompassing 1,100 acres surrounded by equestrian trails and offering beautiful views of the Blue Ridge foothills. The layout features dramatic 400-foot elevation changes and breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The course is an 18-hole, par 71 layout that measures 6,856 yards. The course was designed by renowned course designer Tom Clark, who redesigned the original layout. The course features sweeping views of the Blue Ridge, 400-foot elevation changes, seven miles of cart paths, and plenty of challenging water features. With a rating of 72.8 and slope of 145, it presents a challenging test of golf.
The Golf Club of Virginia at Beacon Hill was originally conceived in 2001 as a premier and luxury club with an original 27-hole layout designed by Johnnie Miller featuring elevation changes of four hundred feet and constant moving water. After five years of operation, the club closed. The course reopened in 2024 with the redesigned layout.
