South Ronaldsay Golf Club is a 9-hole course with 18 tees, established in 2005 and located in St Margaret's Hope village on South Ronaldsay, Orkney. The course was redesigned in 2014 to its current layout, stretching 5,004 yards from the white medal tees with a par of 68 (69 for ladies). It features challenging terrain designed to require all clubs in a player's bag and is regarded as the most demanding course in Orkney.
A distinctive characteristic is the burn that runs through the middle of the course, requiring negotiation multiple times during play. The course opens directly onto general play yellow tees at 4,840 yards. Facilities include a changing room with male and female toilets, a two-booth outdoor practice net installed in 2013, and a large putting green available for visitors. The course is conveniently positioned within walking distance of Pentland Ferries Terminal and adjacent to local bowling and tennis clubs, with village amenities nearby. The club welcomes visitors and operates an honesty system for green fees when not booking through the Scottish Golf app.
