South Leeds Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course with a par of 69, located just a few miles from Leeds city centre. The course measures 5,865 yards and was built in 1906, with Alister MacKenzie as its architect. The course was redesigned in 1923 by Dr Alastair MacKenzie. The course is known for its challenging layout, featuring narrow fairways, well-placed bunkers, and small, fast greens.

The course is relatively hilly, providing stunning views over the city and surrounding countryside. The golf course was used as a qualifying venue for the PGA Professional Car Care Tournaments. The terrain and course design demand accuracy from golfers, with tight fairways and elevated greens that require careful shot selection. Stunning views over the City of Leeds to the North and surrounding countryside to the West and South make for a truly wonderful days golf.
