Lofthouse Hill Golf Club

Lofthouse Hill Golf Club was an 18-hole parkland course located in Lofthouse, West Yorkshire, England, situated on Leeds Road near Wakefield. The course was established in 1994 and operated as a private facility with a par of 70 and a length of 6,000 yards from the white tees.

The course featured multiple tee options, including white, yellow, and red tees, accommodating golfers of varying abilities. The layout included a challenging mix of par-3s, par-4s, and par-5s distributed across the front and back nines, each playing to 35 strokes.

Lofthouse Hill offered comprehensive facilities including a clubhouse, lounge, and locker rooms, along with a driving range. The course was home to the Peter Rishworth Golf Academy and employed teaching professionals for instruction. Carts were available for play, and the facility maintained a dress code requiring collared shirts and appropriate golf attire, with denim prohibited.

However, the course closed for business in 2019 and is no longer operational.
