Salmo District Golf Club is a 9-hole, non-profit golf course located 3 kilometers south of Salmo, British Columbia, in the Kootenays region, approximately 30 minutes from Castlegar, Nelson, and Trail. Founded in 1946 by volunteers, the course originally operated around a small airport with sand greens before transitioning to turf greens in the 1970s, many of which remain in use today.

The course is characterized by flat, open fairways and distinctive greens, making it particularly suitable for seniors and beginners. It features a driving range and power cart rentals. The club maintains its original mission of providing affordable golf access to the local community through low membership rates and green fees, with no required tee time reservations.

The spacious clubhouse includes a full-service restaurant offering meals and beverages after 10:00 AM. The club organizes regular social events including weekly Men's and Ladies' nights plus a Seniors day, welcoming golfers of all skill levels. Junior golfers aged 12 and under play free.
