Ruggles Ferry Golf Club is an 18-hole public course located in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, approximately 5 minutes off Interstate 40 between Knoxville and Gatlinburg. The course opened in 2001 and was designed by Greg and Randall Hodge. It measures 7,081 yards with a par of 72, featuring a course rating of 72.8 and slope rating of 132, making it moderately challenging for golfers of varying skill levels.

The course is set in scenic rolling hills of East Tennessee and features Bermuda grass fairways and bent grass greens. Water hazards are a notable element of the design, with a creek in play on multiple holes and a pond featuring prominently on one par 3 that requires a full carry to the green. The layout emphasizes visual clarity, with few blind shots and elevated tee boxes on several par 3s that allow golfers to see their targets clearly.

The course is open to the public year-round and maintains a well-kept condition. It offers amenities including a driving range, pro shop, club rentals, golf lessons, and cart rental services.
