Riverside Golf Course

Riverside Golf Course is the older of Pocatello's two municipal layouts, located in the southern valley adjacent to the Portneuf River. The course features mature tree species, bluegrass fairways, and bent grass greens with white sand bunkers. Riverside's terrain is relatively tame with easy transitions between greens and tees, making it popular with walking golfers. The design yields multiple birdie opportunities through short par 4s and reachable par 5s, though success requires accuracy and distance control to navigate the greens' formidable defense. The course includes a driving range, practice green, and on-site cafe. Managed by ForeGolf since 2000, Riverside caters to players of all skill levels and hosts various league events and tournaments throughout the year.
