Highland Golf Course

Highland Golf Course is located on the northeast bench of Pocatello, adjacent to the local high school. The course is notably longer and hillier than its sister course, Riverside, offering scenic views of surrounding mountains with mature trees strategically shaping the holes. The layout features bluegrass fairways and bent grass greens with Idaho-harvested white sand bunkers.

Highland presents a challenging playing experience centered on green reading and slope management. The course's topography means all putts effectively slope downhill toward town, requiring golfers to play more break than visually apparent. The routing returns players to the property's center multiple times, creating excellent sightlines for tournament viewing.

The course has hosted the High School State Championship multiple times and remains a popular venue for state competition. Players can occasionally observe football games at the adjacent high school during fall months. Like Riverside, Highland offers a driving range, practice green, and on-site café. Both courses have been managed by ForeGolf since 2000.
