Pine Creek Golf Club is a premier public 18-hole championship course opened in Spring 1988 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Designed by noted architect Richard Phelps, the course ranges from 4,882 yards (front tees) to 7,241 yards (championship tees) with four tee boxes per hole, accommodating various skill levels.
The course winds through Pine Creek Valley, featuring natural grasslands and creek beds that come into play on 15 of 18 holes. The front nine presents canyon-style challenges, while the back nine offers American-style links terrain. Additional hazards include trees, lakes, bunkers, and 376 feet of elevation change. Nearly every hole provides views of Pikes Peak, the Front Range, and the Colorado Springs skyline.
The course is known for being both physically and mentally demanding, earning the reputation as "the player's choice." Pine Creek operates year-round with a moderate climate of warm, sunny days and cool evenings. The facility includes a full clubhouse with restaurant, pro shop, practice facilities featuring putting and chipping greens, and an elevated target-oriented driving range.
