Patty Jewett Golf Course, built in 1898, is one of the oldest continuously operating public golf courses west of the Mississippi River and has been city-owned since 1919. Located in Colorado Springs, the course features a 27-hole regulation layout with an 18-hole course rated par 72 and a separate 9-hole course. The setting is distinguished by its elegant entrance with a wrought-iron gate and a tree-lined drive offering spectacular views of Pikes Peak and the Front Range.
The 18-hole course presents a challenging test for experienced golfers, while the facility includes a full-service practice range with mats, putting green, and short game area. Additional amenities include men's and women's rental club sets, a golf shop, and the Patty Jewett Bar & Grill. The course maintains membership in the Audubon Sanctuary Program. The course record stands at 61 (par 72) held by Colin Prater on the Peak and Plains course. The venue also hosts golf tournaments and offers professional instruction programs for golfers of all skill levels.
