Pelican Golf Course (The Villages) ☆ Follow

Pelican is a 9-hole course featuring 1,777 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 29. Designed by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton, the course opened in 2006. The course offers three sets of tees, with yardages ranging from 1,171 to 1,777 yards, accommodating golfers of varying skill levels.

Most holes feature carries over marsh and natural wetlands, creating the feel of a coastal course. Accuracy off the tee is more important than sheer distance, with wetlands and water carries prominent throughout the layout. Subtle breaks on Pelican's greens can bend putts away from your intended target.

The course is a nature lover's destination with natural habitats for waterfowl and fox squirrels. Located at The Villages Executive Golf Trail complex in The Villages, Florida, Pelican is one of several executive-length courses within the community's extensive golf network.
