Old Tabby Links is an 18-hole private course featuring 7,004 yards with a par of 72, designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, and opened in 1992. The course is nestled within Spring Island and designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer, considered one of his finest achievements, offering a home-free course experience where players are immersed in nature from the first tee to the final green. The front nine weaves through a 150-year-old live oak forest, while the back nine presents a different look with the first six holes meandering through former quail-hunting pastures and the last three bordering the marsh with magnificent views of the Chechessee River, the Broad River, Parris Island and Port Royal. Water hazards come into play throughout the course, especially on the par 3s, with the 17th hole standing out as a beautiful and treacherous waterside par-3 serving as the course's signature hole. The course has been recognized for over 20 consecutive years by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program, earning prestigious environmental certification as one of just 784 courses worldwide.
