Built in 1982 and designed by legendary Carolina architect Gene Hamm, this 18-hole championship course meanders through Rose Hill Plantation, a golf, equestrian, waterfront community set among live oaks draped in Spanish moss, pine trees, and sleepy lagoons. The course plays to a par of 72 and measures 6,961 yards. The course features Mini-Verde Ultradwarf greens providing a year-round putting surface, and wide playing corridors with multiple tee options provide a challenge for all skill levels.

Most holes are flat and straightforward but there are a few tricky doglegs to keep the course interesting, with the layout featuring formidable par 3s that test even the best players and a notably difficult par 5 that measures just over 600 yards. The course presents a great golf experience in concert with nature and with all the charm of the South Carolina Lowcountry. Located near Hilton Head in Bluffton, South Carolina, the course is open to the public and offers an affordable daily fee option with reasonable rates compared to other regional courses.
