Oakland University Golf and Learning Center

Oakland University's Golf and Learning Center is located on the beautifully wooded campus in Rochester, Michigan, and features two championship golf courses: the R&S Sharf Golf Course and the Katke-Cousins Golf Course. Both courses have hosted numerous professional and amateur tournaments throughout their history.

The facility includes a world-class practice complex spanning multiple areas designed for comprehensive skill development. The driving range features over 30,000 square feet of bent grass hitting area with 28 top-of-the-line hitting mats and separate teaching tees for private instruction. A dedicated 5-acre short game area contains three greens, five bunkers, and multiple turf conditions for practicing chipping, pitching, and bunker play. The putting green is maintained at the same consistent speeds as the course greens, allowing golfers to practice in authentic conditions.

All current golf affiliates and registered guests have unlimited access to the driving range and practice facilities. The facility is anchored by the Steve Sharf Clubhouse, which includes Patti Finnegan's Pub & Grille, and serves as the central hub for golf instruction, tournaments, and events at Oakland University.
