Northern Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in Glenroy, approximately 12 kilometers from Melbourne's CBD. Set across 55 hectares, the course features 55 bunkers and 11 water hazards, presenting a challenging layout. The club's modern facilities include a full driving range, short game practice areas, and a Golf Teaching Centre equipped with club fitting, tuition, and ball tracking technology.

Established in 1896 as Essendon Golf Club, the course relocated to its current Glenroy location over 110 years ago and has evolved into a premium golfing destination. The club maintains a strong tradition of supporting elite golfers and hosts significant competitions, including yearly events on the Southern PGA tour and National Legends PGA tour, as well as major Golf Australia events for men, women, and juniors.
