Northcote Public Golf Course is a 9-hole course located in Northcote, Victoria, designed by renowned golf architect Sam Berriman and officially opened on December 15, 1962. The course was developed on land comprising former crown land along the Merri Creek, old dairy land, and part of a former rubbish tip. Berriman, who had designed several other notable courses including Sale, Horsham, and Shepparton, brought significant credentials to the project.

The course opening was marked by an exhibition match featuring prominent Australian amateur champions of the era. The club was formally established in April 1963, with a clubhouse designed by Ron Crocker and opened in December 1967. The facility was expanded to its current size in 1985.

Northcote operates as a traditional members' club with regular Saturday morning competition beginning at 6:30 a.m. or at first light. The course welcomes guest players with official Australian handicaps, reflecting its established place in the local golfing community for over six decades.
