Medway Golf Club is located in Maidstone, Victoria, on approximately 98 acres along the Maribyrnong River. Founded in 1935 as a public golf links and formally established as a club in 1946, the course has evolved significantly over nearly nine decades.

The course features 18 holes and is set on largely flat terrain with water features, including a dam constructed in front of the 11th tee. The layout incorporates the natural landscape of the riverside property, with fairways and surrounds converted to Santa Ana couch grass in the early 2000s for improved drought tolerance and playing quality.

Medway has hosted significant competitions, including the final of the Victorian Golf League "A" pennant in 1936, shortly after opening. The club fields multiple pennant teams across various grades and maintains active women's and junior golf programs.

Infrastructure improvements over the decades include a comprehensive reticulation system installed in 1978, water capture facilities completed in 1985, and modern clubhouse facilities developed from 1957 onwards with subsequent renovations. The course presents moderate difficulty appropriate for a public and member facility serving the western Melbourne suburbs.
