North Woodmere is a 150-acre park located near the water in the southwest part of Nassau County that provides an executive-level nine-hole, par-31 golf course with 2,282 yards. Designed by David W. Gordon, ASGCA, the course opened in 1981. The four par-4s average 363 yards, with the first two holes playing 390 and 395 yards respectively, while the par-3 holes are all legitimate distances, including the 200-yard 6th hole.
The course also offers a driving range with 22 driving range stalls available. North Woodmere is one of the longer nine-hole executive courses in Nassau. The course offers terrific views and challenging play for golfers at every skill level. As a public municipal facility operated by Nassau County, the course welcomes both residents and non-resident guests.
