The property spans approximately 810,000 square meters and features a strategic layout set across gentle hills, with fairways separated by dense stands of cedar and cypress trees. The course opened on November 23, 1979, and is currently operated by Musashi no Mori Country Club Co., Ltd., a member of the ANA Group. The 18-hole layout plays to a par 72, with yardages varying based on the turf conditions. The back tees on Bentgrass measure 6,288 yards, while the Korai grass tees extend to 6,248 yards. The front nine measures 3,075 yards from the back tees, and the back nine measures 3,213 yards. Both the out and in courses feature keyhole tees at the starting holes. The course is designed to challenge golfers with a mix of uphill and downhill shots, dogleg rights, and strategic bunkering. The difficulty of the course is characterized by its demanding greens and strategic hazards. The 16th hole is noted as the most difficult, featuring a notoriously tough green that tests a player's ability to read slopes and select the correct approach. The 15th hole presents a water hazard that pressures the fairway, while the 1st hole is a long par 5 where out-of-bounds runs close to the green. The 5th hole is a downhill par 4 over a valley, requiring precise club selection to navigate the tiered greens. Significant features include the use of tiered and sloping greens throughout the layout, which require careful distance control. The course utilizes a full fleet of riding carts equipped with touch-panel navigation systems that provide distance and slope data, as well as a real-time leaderboard function for groups. The facility is located about 50 kilometers from central Tokyo, offering a distinct separation from the urban environment while remaining accessible via the Kan-etsu Expressway.
