Mountain Park Golf is a par-72 course designed by Gary Player, featuring 18 holes with yardages ranging from 4,288 to 7,213 yards and slope ratings between 109-136. Located within The Cliffs development across 2,000 acres of protected forest and meadowlands in the Blue Ridge Mountains region, the course integrates natural landscape elements throughout its design.

The course showcases old-school golf characteristics including large greens, natural bunkering, and open approaches. The North Saluda River runs through the layout, which remains highly walkable with minimal elevation changes. The design incorporates zoysia fairways, fescue rough, and hybrid bermuda greens. Named one of GOLF Magazine's Best New Modern Courses, Mountain Park reflects Gary Player's commitment to conservation principles.

A distinctive feature is "The Joust," a closing four-hole stretch offering risk-reward opportunities with substantial sand hazards leading into the final holes.
