The Cliffs Valley is an 18-hole golf course featuring 6,964 yards and a par of 72, designed by Ben Wright and opened in 1995. The course is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Travelers Rest, South Carolina. It is a parkland style course with tree-lined holes in a pastoral valley setting, and was Ben Wright's first design in the United States, featuring a variety of elevation changes that wind along the valley floor through hillsides, lakes, woodlands, around streams and creeks. The course has a rating of 72.9 and a slope rating of 123.

The course is consistently rated by members as a favorite due to its walkability and its reputation for being playable virtually every day of the year. Architect Ben Wright's goal was to move as little dirt as possible, resulting in a course that is invitingly walkable with stone bridges throughout. The course was ranked among the nation's Best New Courses by Golf Digest and hosted the Nationwide Tours BMW Charity Pro-Am.
