Mission Del Lago Golf Course is an 18-hole layout located south of San Antonio near Mitchell Lake, designed by Denis Griffiths in 1989. The course features a unique British links-style design built on relatively flat terrain, incorporating doglegs, gullies, creeks, ponds, sloping fairways, and well-guarded raised greens. With over 100 bunkers and typically windy conditions, the course presents a distinctive challenge uncommon in the San Antonio area.

The course accommodates all skill levels with tee boxes ranging from 5,300 yards (Women's) to 7,044 yards (Men's Blue). Difficulty ratings span from 66.5 to 81.0, with slope ratings between 119 and 144. The facility includes a full practice area with a large practice green, chipping area, and driving range.

Notable for being designed by the only American golf architect to design a course at St. Andrews, Scotland, Mission Del Lago offers an exceptionally challenging experience with its strategic bunkering and contoured greens. The course welcomes golfers of all abilities while providing sufficient complexity for experienced players seeking a test of their game.
