Misato Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 course located in Misato, Kodama District, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Situated on elevated terrain, the layout is classified as a hill course, yet the design minimizes significant elevation changes between holes, creating a relatively flat playing surface. The course spans 760,000 square meters and was designed by the civil engineering department of Ichikawa Zoen Dozoku Co., Ltd. The total yardage is listed at 7,008 yards from the back tees, with the front nine measuring 3,556 yards and the back nine 3,452 yards.
The design is characterized by an American style, featuring large tee grounds that allow for varied strategic options depending on tee mark placement. Water hazards are integrated into the landscape as ponds that sit at nearly the same level as the fairways, while bunkers are described as shallow but expansive. This layout requires precision off the tee and careful approach shots, as the wide bunkers and water features penalize errant shots. The course offers multiple tee sets, including back, front, lady, and senior tees, providing flexibility for different skill levels.
Key holes include the par-4 fifth hole, which serves as the handicap 1 stroke hole and measures 435 yards from the back tees. The par-5 13th hole is the longest on the course at 560 yards, playing as the handicap 8 stroke hole. Shorter holes such as the par-3 12th (155 yards) and the par-3 17th (189 yards) provide contrast to the longer par 4s and 5s. The course hosts regular open competitions and events throughout the year.
