Metropolitan Golf Club is a premier 18-hole parkland course located in central Cape Town, South Africa. Established in 1895, the course was rebuilt in 2010 by local architect Mark Müller. The distinctive design features 18 holes with separate tees, 14 world-class greens sharing 9 fairways, creating a unique and challenging layout. The course is characterized by bent grass greens and Kikuyu fairways set against a scenic, centrally-located backdrop.

The greens are a standout feature, maintained to exacting standards with a consistent stimp roll of 10-10.5 throughout the year, earning recognition as among the best in the Western Cape. This precise green conditioning attracts professional tour players and accomplished golfers seeking a genuine challenge. The parkland setting provides an elegant playing environment combining strategic design with scenic views. Known affectionately as "The MET" by members and visitors, the course has maintained its reputation as one of South Africa's premier golfing destinations since its recreation over a century ago.
