Linwood Country Club is an 18-hole course designed by Herbert Strong and opened in 1920, featuring scenic views of the back bays of Absecon Island and the Atlantic City skyline. The course spans 6,260 yards with a par of 70, a course rating of 70.1, and a slope rating of 127. The course underwent a full redesign in 1999 by architects Tony Lepre and Rob Salad, with the goal to enhance the course's natural beauty while preserving its unique seaside setting and creating an aesthetically pleasing layout that blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. The course features a variety of holes showcasing breathtaking vistas, strategic water hazards, and expertly placed bunkers, with a design focused on playability and enjoyment while allowing golfers to take in views of Jersey Shore wildlife. The club occupies 110 acres in Linwood with a bayside setting.
