Lincoln Oaks Golf Course, founded in 1927, was designed by renowned architect Tom Bendelow, who also designed Medinah and Olympia Fields South among over 600 courses across the U.S. and Canada. Located in Crete, Illinois, approximately 20 miles south of Chicago near the Southwest suburbs and Indiana border, the course is a sporty 6,200-yard par-71 layout.

The course features characteristic bent grass fairways and manicured greens, with mature tree-lined fairways that evoke traditional golf aesthetics. Lincoln Oaks offers country club-level maintenance at public rates, with complimentary range balls included with rounds. The facility includes a grass practice range and the Oaks Bar and Grill, recently remodeled to provide dining options and beverages. The course is known for combining quality conditioning with accessible pricing, making it a notable example of early 20th-century course design by a prolific designer.
