Balmoral Woods Country Club

Balmoral Woods Golf Club is an 18-hole public course located in Crete, Illinois, approximately 40 minutes south of downtown Chicago in Will County. Opened in 1975, the course spans 280 acres of wooded, rolling hills terrain. The layout measures 6,700 yards with a par 72, a rating of 72.6, and a slope of 133, presenting a demanding test of skill.

The course is regarded as one of the top public golf facilities in the Chicagoland area. Balmoral Woods has established itself as a premier tournament venue, hosting numerous CDGA Amateur events, Illinois PGA tournaments, and serves as the annual home of the prestigious Will County Amateur Championship held each spring. The course is noted for its excellent conditioning and scenic wooded setting. An on-site restaurant operates daily for lunch service, complementing the golfing experience.
