Deer Creek Golf Course

Deer Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course located in University Park, Illinois, serving the Chicago South Suburban area. The course features bent grass greens, seven lakes, and 55 sand bunkers throughout its layout. Aesthetically designed with naturalized areas containing wildflowers, the course is rated 3½ stars by Golf Digest Magazine and is recognized as one of the region's premier public golf facilities.

The course's four-tee setup, constructed in 2003, accommodates golfers of all skill levels, from expert players to beginners, seniors, and women golfers. The facility includes a comprehensive practice area with full shot and short game sections. Deer Creek has established itself as a tournament venue, having hosted significant events including Illinois Open Qualifying, PGA Professional Qualifying, and the Illinois Oldsmobile (Buick) Scramble Sectional. Beyond golf, the facility offers a golf shop, instruction services, and banquet facilities capable of accommodating up to 200 people indoors or 400 with outdoor pavilion space, making it suitable for tournaments, outings, and special events.
